Ambitious, affable, and astute, I’m a professional Designer and Marketer working at ESG Book: a global leader in sustainability data and technology.

 

I’m responsible for the creative direction of the ESG Book brand, including digital design and marketing. With over 8 years’ experience, my specialties lie in branding, websites, presentations, and marketing assets.

ESG Book is a global leader in sustainability data and technology. Launched in 2018, the company offers a wide range of sustainability-related data, scoring, and technology products, used by many of the world’s leading investors and companies.

Working in the marketing department, and reporting directly to the CMO, I collaborate with all departments, including product, research, and the leadership team. I am responsible for all business and marketing design outputs and have worked with external bodies such as the FII Institute in Saudi Arabia, Glass Lewis, and Bloomberg. Additionally, I have worked as the sole designer for an international partnership with GFMA, Google Cloud, BCG, and with leading global financial banks such as HSBC.

 

My role includes managing company email marketing outputs, achieving average open rates of 24% and CTRs ranging from 2% to 8% from a 30k user base, and creating social media data visualisations which significantly drive our ESG Book LinkedIn audience, generating between up to 250k impressions and an average engagement rate of 8.6%. 

 

Additionally, I design reports and white papers using magazine layouts for an online magazine experience, produce sales collateral such as one-pagers, product guides, and business cards, and create presentations for investors, sales, and product showcases.

FMXA Brand

Responsible for the creative direction of the FMXA brand, I crafted the brand story “Humanizing Technology”, as well as creating the visual identity. This includes website, brand guidelines, business cards, pitch decks, presentations, social media graphics, email templates, imagery, and print brochures. Beyond design, I was also responsible for marketing the FMXA brand. Within 6 months of joining the business, I delivered FMXA’s first award win at The Drum 2021 B2B Awards, winning “B2B For Good” out of 9 nominations. 

 

Client Side

Managing digital marketing channels for three tech clients across three tech specialisms. I was directly responsible for creating and upholding marketing strategies and activities across Social Media, Paid Social, SEO, and Email, including creating design assets for campaigns.  Additional aspects of my client-facing role involved running strategy and branding discovery workshops, alongside weekly and monthly meetings with clients to review performance and upsell services.

Reporting directly to the company directors, I was responsible for creating and implementing marketing and design outputs, including strategy, digital and print design, content creation, event management, and digital marketing. Under my management, RedCat saw a consistent uptick in marketing results, generating digital leads for the first time in 20 years, increasing LinkedIn followers by 35k, and reaching the top three SERP rankings for six core keywords.

Freelance, Remote

Working as a freelance digital designer and generating clients through referrals, I design brand identities and websites for B2C companies using a variety of software such as Adobe Suite, Canva, Wix, Squarespace, Sketch and Figma.

Account & Project Manager

Hired as an account/project manager, I worked alongside a small internal team and remote freelancers, to oversee web designs as well as monthly web maintenance on Magento and WordPress. Additional aspects of my role included managing national Google paid ads campaigns for businesses across industries such as eCommerce, Travel, and Insurance.
