Established by animal owners, Zooline is a family-run business, based out of West Sussex, England. Working in partnership with international breeders, Zooline wanted a brand that would grab attention when on the side of animal transportation vehicles.

Building an eye-catching brand
I was tasked with creating a visual identity for Zooline that was playful but professional and would help customers understand their offering quickly and efficiently.
Adding animal icons to the Zooline logo helps to quickly explain what Zooline does to an international audience. The playful text and cartoon style of the logo make it eye-catching when placed on the side of a vehicle - the business's most cost-effective way to advertise.
Colours
The colour palette was defined using hues similar to what you'd find on an animal. Monochrome colours were chosen to represent fur, while the pink was chosen as the tongue, and the blue for the eyes.
Applying these six colours across all brand visuals created a cohesive palette that was easy to spot.

Iconography
The icons created are playful, representing different animals and personalities, much like our real pets. The icons are not only applied to the logo but also represent the company in responsive digital settings, for example in favicon icons or profile pictures. The icons also created a unique uniform for Zooline employees to wear when collecting and delivering animals.
